Alexander Kolesnikov, the author of the free numerology lessons

My name is Alexander Kolesnikov. I was born in 1961 in beautiful Kyrgyzstan, which was at that time a part of the USSR. My background is in engineering and science, and I spent more than twelve years in the Soviet Army - the last part of that period working as a researcher in an institution near Moscow.

At the same time, I was always interested in various mysterious subjects. My parents were very unusual people: we often had guests like clairvoyants, astrologers, psychics, and yogi - and this was in the years when Communist ideology was very strong, and these kinds of people were very much frowned upon.

From time to time, we also had, from some mysterious sources, exciting texts on yoga, astrology, numerology, and many other subjects. Sometimes they were nearly impossible to read because people were spreading these texts between their friends by making several copies on a typewriter. (Owning a copier was illegal during those years.) One of my responsibilities was to make a copy of every such text for our own collection, so I spent a lot of time in my childhood and youth typing on a primitive mechanical typewriter.

When I was in the Army, the arrival of Perestroika prompted me to use my brain for something more peaceful. I left the Army and became a full-time student of esoteric knowledge, making my living as a translator of esoteric literature. After a few years, I was already teaching astrology and lecturing in many cities across Russia. I was doing a lot of research, writing articles, and in 1997 my first astrology book was published in Moscow. The year 2001 was marked with the arrival of my second astrology book, and around that time I became intensely interested in numerology.

At first, numerology appeared to be too simple to be true, but as I continued to learn, I was more and more amazed by the level of understanding I could achieve with numerology, especially considering how little effort it required. However, my interest wasn't limited to popular numerology. I dug deep, into the history of numbers and their use throughout humanity. As a result of my investigations, I've published a book on numerology, and it remained in print in Russia for many years.

I have created this website because of my desire to share the knowledge of numerology I've accumulated so far with English speaking readers. If you are also interested in astrology, please visit my other website: Lunarium.
